Good stuff. This topic is one that really gets to me.
If you've ever seen the great (imo) movie "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" with Pope-Of-The-World-Brad-Pitt, one of the Ford brothers is singing the original song "O, I'm A Good Old Rebel".
While they were fighting a different war (could it be said we're fighting a war yet? If not, Civil War II could well be on it's way), the sentiments are the same: this country is divided and people are pissed.
I personally know people that will lay their lives down for what's going on now. Not simply military personnel, but private citizens brought to the boiling point.
